Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Board of Director's Meeting Minutes
October 21, 2009

Present at the Board Meeting were Andy WO3L, Bill N3WM,  Pete W3GVX,  
Bill N3WM, Rich N3III, John AK3Z, Chuck N3TOT, Gene KB3JHR, and Steve  
N3SB.


1)Hamfest – Plans are being made to launch an ARHAB balloon at  
Sunday's hamfest. Pat N8PK, Rich N3III, and Steve N3SB are putting  
this demo together as the Technical Presentation. Bourns Hall will not  
be accessible until Sunday morning, but Alesia will be available for  
Saturday setup.

2)Donated equipment – Bill received a variety of equipment from a  
silent key, including a Kenwood TS-440 HF Transceiver, automatic  
antenna tuner, a collection of tubes, and a bunch of other parts. Some  
of the items will be sold at the hamfest.

3)Motion pending to spend no greater than $1000 to procure a Honda 2KW  
generator: The BoD supports this motion and recommends that the club  
approve it.

4)Holiday Party: Gene KB3JHR has requested additional budget to  
support the Holiday Party. The BoD is transferring $300 of it's budget  
to the Holiday Party budget.

5)November CCARC meeting topic: CarrollSat Balloon Launch.
