[K3PZN-List] Field Day - Youth Participation Encouraged

Yes definitely getting youth onto the air should be a FD priority. Yes we have done this well in the past, to the extend we have had younger operators available.
Note we have this incentive in the rules (not that we are not more motivated by exposing younger folk to our pastime!): A 20-point bonus (maximum of 100) may be earned by any Class A, C, D, E, or F group for each participant age 18 or younger at your Field Day operation that completes at least one QSO.
Keep in mind your daughter's attention span and age, and scope out an appropriate amount of operating time.
I was only going to suggest to Andy we designate a station as GOTA if we had multiple operators who could get us more than 100 QSO's - otherwise they could certainly operate one of our main rigs !
