Thanks for the link.  I've signed up.  Please let me know when you guys are
meeting (experimenter committee) because I would like to join you!!  I am
working with microprocessors at work right now so it falls in line with my
job. I am ready to start building projects again.

PS--I've decided to order and build a K3.  Unfortunately, it takes 4-5
months to get one after you place an order.

Club members all,

Last night I promised to give you a link to the McHUG reflector, where our
goal is to help hams play with microcontrollers.  Steve, Pete and I have
been trying it out - getting the "reply to" set correctly and things like
that.  Funny thing, one of our first topics is the new (beta new) Softrock
Lite Xtall.  This is a Softrock Lite (like the one we gave out for door
prizes this past year) that has its crystal oscillator replaced with the
Si570 - the chip Steve was telling you about last night.  It has a four pin
switch that selects the frequency word for each band - so there's no
microcontroller with it - - YET!  So if you'd like to join the fun the link
