CCARC Board of Directors Meeting, 18-June-2008

In attendance were Gene KB3JHR, Tony KF3AK, Chuck N3TOT, Curt WB8YYY, John
K3KWO, Pat N8PK, and Steve N3SB.
 
1.	Tailgate Fest / Hamfest – Both events are sanctioned by the ARRL, and
contracts are in place with the Ag Center. A meeting with the Ag Center is
being planned to discuss parking and traffic flow. Another event may be
occurring there the weekend of the Tailgate-Fest. The BoD discussed the future
of both events, and for now believes that 2009 events would look very similar
to what we’re currently doing.

2.	Field Day – some final discussions were held concerning food planning, GOTA,
bonus points, etc. 

3.	Tony KF3AK would like to have a group audit the treasurer’s books. Please
contact Tony if you are interested.

4.	Holiday Party – the VFW is hosting a crab feat on July 26, from 1 to 5 PM.
Tony KF3AK will get some details, and post a note to the club email reflector
to determine if there’s interest.

5.	July Meeting topic – Field Day review, and plans for the County exercise
coming up on August 2nd.
