Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 9 June 2008

President Andy Leeds, WO3L, called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM. Thirteen
members and no guests were present.

Announcements:

The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday July 14th at the Emergency Services
Training Center in Westminster.

The next BoD meeting will be on Wednesday June 18th, 7:30 PM at the FTC.

>From the mailbag:

There was no club mail available. 

Secretary’s Report:

Steve N3SB published the secretary’s report from last month’s meeting to the
club’s email reflector. The report was accepted by the membership present.

Treasurer’s Report:

Tony KF3AK provided the treasurer’s report, detailing current balances, income,
and expenses. The report was accepted by the membership present. 

Board of Directors Report:

The BoD report was published to the reflector. There were no questions about the
minutes.

Committee Reports:

Repeater – The club’s packet BBS may not be operating reliably. It will be
checked out in the next couple days.

DCS – Next meeting on the Fourth Monday in June.

Station Committee – No Report.

Training & Education Committee – Committee still open

QSL Bureau – Operating.

Digital Committee – John K3KWO is looking for Field Day Operators. 

TEC Committee – Will spool up after Field Day.

Hamfest – a table reservation was received from BARC & the QSL checking service.
This table will be provided free as per our usual practice.

Field Day – Topic of tonight’s presentation.

Old Business:

None.

New Business:

FY2009 Budget – the FY2009 budget was presented by the treasurer, and approved
by the membership present.

Motion from John W3JJH to amend the DCS committee budget by $150.00. Motion was
approved by the membership present.

Evening Presentation:

The club discussed Field Day preparations outside.

Closing notes:

President Leeds adjourned the meeting at approximately 9:15 PM.
