CCARC Board of Directors Meeting, 19-December-2007

In attendance were Rich N3III, Gene KB3JHR, Tony KF3AK, Chuck N3TOT, Frank
K3MTT, Rob K1RH, Bill N3WM, Steve N3SB, and guest Joe KB3LNM. This was a dinner
meeting held at Johanssen’s in Westminster.

1.	Field Day 2008 – The BoD discussed several options for this years’ Field Day.
President Mitchell formed a committee to lead the effort. The committee’s first
goal is to start discussions in the club about where this year’s event should
be held, and have a vote on where to hold Field Day at the February club
meeting.

2.	Kid’s Day – Kid’s Day is on Sunday January 6 from 1 – 7 PM at the K3PZN Club
Station.

3.	Nominations Committee – President Mitchell formed the Nominations Committee,
as required by our By-laws.

4.	January CCARC meeting presentation – Jack Kolb will be giving a talk on the
Aurora. Gene KB3JHR offered make sure that a DVD player and sound system are
ready for January’s presentation.

5.	Holiday Party Financial Report – Tony KF3AK reported that the Holiday Party
committee slightly under-spent its budget.

6.	Treasurer’s Report updates – Tony KF3AK provided updated reports for October
and November.

7.	Letter of Appreciation from WACOM – The club received a nice thank-you letter
from the WACOM Amateur Radio Club for letting them borrow our ticket drum for
their hamfest.

8.	2008 Hamfest & Tailgate-Fest dates – Tentative dates selected are August 17
and October 26.

9.	January BoD Meeting – The January BoD meeting will be on Monday January 21st
at the FTC. Note the day change – Wednesday January 23rd is the BARC
Mini-Hamfest, and several BoD members would like to attend.
