One and All,

It looks like we will have another QRP/Battery Field Day operating out of the EOC.

Here's what we know so far:

N3SB will captain a CW Station and provide an Elecraft K2.

N3WM will captain a second CW station.  Bill will either need to find a HUGE
bank of batteries to run his 756PRO or else someone will have to provide another
good CW QRP rig.  Are there any more K2s out there?

K3KWO will captain a Digital station and provide an IC-703 based rig.

N8PK will captain a 20 m Digital station based on a PSK20.

I will captain a Phone station and will provide a TenTec Argonaut V.

We need someone to captain a VHF/UHF effort.  I can lend an FT-817 for this.

We need someone to captain a GOTA station.  We have W3MDC as a GOTA call this
year.  We need a relatively easy to use rig for GOTA.  We will need control ops
when non-licensed guests use the rig or when a ham is operating
outside his band privileges.

We need a Food Captain.

How about having an operating position that's casual in nature where folks can
bring their homebrew rigs, HW-8s, Tuna Tin 2s, and the like, and use them for
Field Day?

We need a FOOD CAPTAIN.

We need folks to step forward to set up demo rigs and make satellite QSOs for
extra points.

We need as many licensed operators as possible at the kick off so that we can
have as many carriers as possible on the air for a fifteen minute period.  This
isn't really for bragging rights.  It's for extra points--100 point for each rig
running off of battery power!

WE NEED A FOOD CAPTAIN.

Suggestions, questions, comments, and war stories are welcome.

And did I mention that we need a Food Captain?
