Subject: [K3PZN-List] 15 Days Until Field Day
All:
There's some buzz starting on the reflector about antennas. I've seen
several good proposals. We will have a walk-though of the site at 7 pm
on Monday (that's a half hour before the club meeting). All the Station
Captains should attend. Anyone else interested is welcome. The purpose
of this brief meeting is to agree on the general layout of the antennas.
There have been several suggestions that we setup one of the
County-provided go kits as a packet node that would qualify as a
Non-traditional Mode Demonstration under the rules. This would also be
a good thing to show to an elected official (100 point bonus for the
visit) or to someone from a served agency (another 100 point bonus). We
have the gear, do we have a volunteer to do the setup and invite the
visitors?
We need a Food Captain.
Here's the commitments thus far:

For those who haven't been following the reflector traffic, GIOTA stands
for "Get It On The Air." This is an operating position for less than
contest quality or heritage QRP rigs. Bring one if you'd like to join
in the fun.
Of course, we still need volunteers to cover those ??? areas.
Oh, one more thing. We still need a Food Captain.
