When WX3B and I were checking out that antenna problem, the windom itself
checked out OK. The problem appears to be at the junction between the hardline
at the top of the tower, and the RG-8 coax that droops down and back up to the
antenna feedpoint. It's possible that the hardline connector has failed --
several have done so before. I have replacements but they terminate in Type-N
connectors (these won't fail like the other ones did) so it will need an
adapter. The drooping coax should probably be replaced as well.
