I concur that efficient antennas are a great idea for
PSK31 given the mini-pile-ups in a contest.  

I have a 20m half square antenna (essentially two
verticals that doesn't need radials) that could be
used if we can find space to set it up, that might be
ideal for Pat's 20m psk rig.  

I am suspicious that the 'smoked' Carolina windom is
likely the balun network which isn't readily
repairable that i know of .... i don't sense these
antennas should be used over 100 watts in spite of
whatever the rating.  So a climb is futile unless we
have an antenna to mount in its place.
