CCARC Board of Directors Meeting, 21-March-2007

In attendance were John K3KWO, Rich N3III, Bill N3WM, Bill W3STG, Gene KB3JHR,
Chuck N3TOT, Frank K3MTT, Steve N3SB, and guest Tony KF3AK.

1.	Membership Year – The BoD discussed approaches to having all memberships
start and end at the same time each year.  The BoD has adopted a new policy:

	Members renewing in 2007 will be maintained on the roster until the end of 2008
when they will again be assessed dues for the year 2009.

	New members will pay one years’ dues that will give them paid membership thru
the end of the following year. 

2.	Field Day – John W3JJH has volunteered to chair this years Field Day. 

3.	Hamfest Flyers – 2007 proofs have been approved by the BoD and will be ready
for the upcoming hamfests.

4.	Keys – Tony KF3AK has obtained two Post Office Box keys. Tony KF3AK and Steve
N3SB will keep one each. Steve N3SB has keys to the FTC Building and both doors
to the club station.

5.	Possibilities – Rich N3III displayed several Software Defined Radio kits he
recently built. He believes these kits, which depend on a computer for their
operation, are a great way to get kids involved in Amateur Radio.

6.	Generator Trailer Tag – The registration renewal is due for the generator
trailer. The BoD has directed its renewal.

7.	Van Disposition – The BoD will now accept sealed bids on the Van. Bids must
be submitted to the club’s PO Box, attention VAN SALE. High bidder gets the
van. Condition is AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Bids are due by Saturday June 9. The winning
bidder will be announced at the June 11 club meeting, and the sale will take
place within 5 days of that time. Purchaser is responsible for moving the
vehicle within 10 days of the sale.
