Here are the results of the discussion at the club meeting last night:

1.  We will be operating QRP/Battery for the challenge and the 5X multiplier.

2.  We will once again have the potluck picnic at 1800 on Saturday.  Families
and friends are invited.

3.  We will run the event as an NIMS-compliant exercise.  Go to

As the Field Day Chairman, I will be the Incident Commander.  Steve N3SB will be
the PIO.  The Safety Officer and Liason Officer slots are open.

I will serve as the Operations Chief.  Bill W3STG will be the Finance/Admin
Chief, and John K3KWO will be the Logistics Chief.  The Planning Chief slot is
open.

Steve N3SB will be the CW Director; John K3KWO will be the Digital Director;
William KB3GHE will be the VHF Director; I will be the Phone Director; the GOTA
Director slot is open.  The Food Director (for the picnic and breakfast) slot is
open.

We have one station captain (aka Group Supervisor) signed up for each of the
modes.  If you want to run an additional station for us, please go to the

volunteer.  You can use that link to volunteer for any of the open positions.

4.  The site is still TBD.  If no other site has been proposed by the time of
the Board of Directors meeting next week, Chuck N3TOT will contact Springfield
Hospital to arrange to use that location.
