GOTA is limited to the same power as the main stations:

4.1.1.4. The maximum transmitter output power for the GOTA station shall
be 150 watts. If the primary Field Day group is claiming the QRP
multiplier level of 5, the maximum transmitter output power of the GOTA
station may not exceed 5 watts.

John

thanks for all the preparations.

GOTA? maybe its within the spirit of the hobby to use
the SSB and digital stations in this fashion as we
have guests. (the only advantage of having a GOTA
station would be if it had capacity to operate at
100w.). one less station to equip is one less station
....

Are we using the big generator for powering PCs? and
lighting ?

Stations? I can't imagine more than one HF band being
optimal for phone QRP at a time .... maybe ditto for
PSK31. Two CW stations make sense IF we have enough
operators, as two bands should be effective at all
hours. Captain could decide at commencement of
operations if we set up single band antennas ...

speaking of antennas, would be neat to see this info
for each station!

set-up - need it start at 2 pm on friday, or could we
start a bit later when more of us can be there ?

73, curt
