RACES COMMEX

The next RACES Communication Exercise is Tuesday, March 8 at 7:30 PM.  

The exercise scenario is be a solar flare on the Sun occurred releasing a burst of radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to x-rays and gamma-rays.  This event is an X6 Class Flare.   Commercial power and communications outages are occuring statewide.  The Maryland Joint Operations Center (MJOC) at Camp Fretterd is operational. 

Operations for this exercise may take place in the radio room at the Fire 
Training Center.  Monitor the 145.41 repeater for details.
