The FCC R&O for BPL has been issued.  Gee, it only took two weeks!  Do you
think that they're trying to push this thing or what.  The news is both good
and not so good for Amateur Radio.  Visit the ARRL website at www.arrl.org

BPL isn't the only technology in development targeted at providing broadband
to the masses.  If any or some of the technolgies prove to be cheaper and
faster to provision, widespread BPL could be dead within a few years...
