HI Keith,
   That is a good buy and maybe I'll look into it.
However be careful, the manufactures don't tell you
the full story on the FRS/GMRS radio's. They do need a
license even if you operate on the 14 FRS channels,
BECAUSE they don't reduce the transmitter power on
these channels. Anything over .5 watts requires the
license and most of these are 2 watts. I'm having a
problem here at work as the boss bought a couple of
Motorola's for us to use and didn't know about the
license requirement. The communications department
here said to go ahead and used them that no one will
complain since we are a government agency. I refuse to
use them without a license and there is no longer a
business license issued only a private. Maybe I'll
just go on and pay $75.00 and get my license and be
over it. If the others want to take a chance they
don't have any other license's to lose, I do.
