Posted here are the minutes of the November Club meeting, changes,

CARROLL COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Minutes
The Carroll County Amateur Radio Club met on November 8th at the Fire
Training Center at 7:30PM, there were 23 members and 2 guests present,
members and guests introduced themselves.
President Beckman had the following announcements; he introduced Matt
KB3LOX as our newest ham; there will be a RACES drill on Nov 9th at the
EOC, let Larry know if you plan to attend so you can get access to the
EOC; hams for toys are asking for donations to get toys for the children
in Florida, the board will match donations up to $100; next board
meeting Wednesday the 17th at the FTC at 7:30PM; the club will meet on
December 5th at Boulevard and Beyond to celebrate the holiday season
with our annual dinner, prices for this year are $10 for members and $20
for guests; he announced that JOTA was a success this year again but
fewer scouts showed up than expected; Shirley KB3KYJ is taking over the
chairman ship of the Membership committee, contact her for changes etc;
November Sweepstakes will be held at the club station on Nov 20
beginning at 1PM and ending Sunday Nov 21 when we run out of operators
or meet our time limit; Chuck N3TOT has approval for placing Ham Radio
for Dummies in the schools, he is looking for funding, Al AK3Z suggested
he contact the ARRL for assistance; Chuck N3TOT has been appointed by
the President as Liaison Officer for the club to all County and other
agencies that we have dealing with, so far he has attended two county
meetings, working on the County Emergency Plan and a seminar for
Critical Incidents; there will be a meeting of the Emergency Equipment
for supporting the County on Wednesday the 10th at the FTC; a nomination
committee was formed for the upcoming elections, Laird K3LMB and Pete
N3FNE will form the committee.
Secretary report - there was no old business in the October minutes, a
copy of the minutes are posted in the radio room, Keith W3MDC motioned
to accept, seconded by Doug N5LBJ, voted and passed.
Treasurers report - the report was read by Joe N3YIM, a copy is posted
in the radio room, motioned by John K3KWO to accept, seconded by Laird
K3LMB, voted and passed.
Board report - John AK3Z gave a report on the October Board meetings,
a copy of the minutes are posted in the radio room.
Committees;
Digital - John K3KWO, he is still holding the net but participation
is really low, tune in Thursday evening at 7:30PM on 6 meters.
Membership - Shirley KB3KYJ will chair the committee starting
immediately.
Station - John AK3Z reports that the parts for the beam are here and
will be installed as soon as possible.
Publications - Joe N3YIM reports the newsletter is posted on the web
and copies are to be mailed this week.
The 50/50 was won by Laird K3LMB, $18.50.
The toy collection netted $111.50; a motion was made and passed to
match the amount so we will send $223.00 to the fund.
President Beck gave a presentation of the progress on the van project
and future plans for the project.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:30PM.
