It=92s apparent that I will be climbing no more, getting too old I =
guess.
Arthritis, bad hand and vertigo. It=92s gotten too dangerous for me. =
So,
I have for sale:
1 Hy-Gain TH-6 HF Yagi. 6 element. Covers 10, 15, 20 meter bands. 24
foot boom length. 33 foot maximum element length. Stainless steel
hardware.
1 Ham-IV antenna rotator, with the automatic pointing kit installed.
Needs service. It stopped working last spring. Everything in the shack
looks good. Nothing happened to damage it. I suspect a loose
connection up on the tower, but I am unable to climb up there to check
it out.
1 24 foot 2 =BD inch aluminum mast
1 Rohn 45 guyed tower. 100 feet. Complete, with pier pin base section
and top section with thrust bearing. Good condition. Complete with 4
sets of torque arms, 3(plus) sets of =BC=94 guy wires, 4 sets of
turnbuckles, rotor mount, new (never used) equipment shelf. All =
you=92ll
need is a concrete base, new pier pin and 3 guy anchors. The top
section has 1 broken weld, which ought to be rewelded. The weld
currently is clamped with a stainless steel hose clamp, which has worked
flawlessly for over 10 years.
The good news=85 I=92ll sell the complete package for $1000.
The bad news=85 I can=92t climb, so you=92ll have to take it down =
yourself.
I worked over 300 countries with this outfit, using 80 watts CW, and
contesting was a breeze (especially with the quick-point kit installed
in the HAM-IV). It=92s a killer setup.
