needs to be done to the MCC
at this time.

Additionally, at Rob's suggestion, I'd like to start a
MCC replacement parts
database. I am dbase illiterate. Help would be
appreciated in this area.
Fields I'd like to see included: part number,
description, location, date
last replaced, cost, plus anything else I might have
forgotten.

If anyone in the club general membership has any
experience in any of the
areas listed below, please contact either myself or
K1RH to offer your
assistance. Time IS limited on this project. We really
don't want this to
drag on and on and on.

Van To Do List:

· Replace generator's second spark plug
· Clean the generator's carburetor
· Change the generator's oil/filter
· Revive or replace tech battery
· General cleaning and scrubbing of dash and driver's
area
· Buff the exterior to finish removing old lettering
· Minor body work mostly consisting of sanding down
small patches of
surface rust and painting with touch up paint.

· Securing some loose weather stripping with adhesive
· Replace trim pieces that were removed to clean the
carpeting
· Inspect vehicle's air conditioning system. Inject UV
dye into the
A/C system and recharge with R134. Obviously the
system takes R12, but
since we are not likely to find R12 anymore, R134 will
have to suffice. Run
system and check for leaks with UV light.

· Fabricate wood surfaces for the two rack mounted
operating positions
· Remove old labels from rack doors
· Check all interior and exterior light bulbs and
replace as needed
· Check fire extinguisher and replace if needed
· Stock van with first aid kit, road flares and
fix-a-flat
· Check spare tire, jack and crow bar. Haven't seen a
spare. Is
there one tuck underneath it somewhere?
· Create a list of items that will need to be stocked
in the van.
This might include fuses, spare light bulbs, wire,
coax, WD-40, electrical
tape, PL-259 connectors, basic tools, etc. This is not
the complete wish
list of items that has already been create, but a list
of what we can
reasonably scrounge up to provide for basic operating
needs.

· Create documentation for operating the van. Identify
each component
unique to the van. Include startup procedures for the
generator. Create a
check list for things to check when activating the
van.
