Greetings Rob;
Thanks for having a look at the generator! I'm a little concerned about
the low compression in one cylinder. Hopefully it's not an indication of a
big problem, like bad rings.
A shot of oil in that cylinder and a repeat compression test would tell if
the rings are the issue. If it's a dirty valve then the compression
shouldn't improve.
There should be a manual on that generator in the club's file cabinet. I
know for sure that one exists.
Are you referring to the generator, or to us, when you mention "regular
exercise" ??

With a good tune up and regular exercise hand cranking may not be as
difficult as is has been.
