Memebrs,

Dave of B&B has received the digitized club logo.  Due to size constraints
and the intricacy of the CCARC logo, ALL club logo will be done in gray with
a maroon background (i.e., fill between the lettering).  If the logo is done
using the garment itself for a background, over time the garment will shrink
but not the logo causing it to pucker.  In addition the "Est. 1938" comes
out to be about 1/8" high and, therefore, indistiguishable.

This should have no effect on the garment or colors that you have selected.
This problem came up in conversation with Dave today and I made the decision
so that there is no delay.  He will send samples of the CCARC logo
embroidered on various garment materials for inspection.  I hope to have
them by the 3/10/ meeting.
