Hi Doug and all hsmm folks,

I just ordered one of the low cost Belkin wireless adapter.
If it comes before Field Day I'd like to loan it to someone
there who has a working USB port on their PC or laptop. We
can run a webcam conference through MS NetMeeting while
contesting!

The product photo doesn't look like it has a detachable
antenna. This could be a sore point. The cost was $29.99
hen you include shipping. They don't guarantee the price,
nor does Belkin guarantee the shipping date. They e-mailed
me a receipt immediately. They offer to notify one by e-mail
once it is shipped. For the $30 I trust it can be of some
use. I'll let you know when it comes.

I've purchased other Belkin products before, such as a
1-to-4 USB bridge and USB 1.1 and 2.0 cables, and they are
working well.

Any one else want to take the jump with Doug and me? The
URL is given below in Doug's original post. Let us know.
