* This will be short because I'm once again out of work and Mondays
  are the days to get those resumes out.
 
* The FCC has granted amateurs use of five 2.8 kHz-wide channels with
  center frequencies of 5332, 5348, 5368, 5373 and 5405 kHz. The 
  channels will be available to General and higher class licensees.
  The only permitted mode will be upper-sideband USB phone, and 50 W 
  ERP is the maximum   power allowed.

- Shenandoah Valley Amateur Radio Club, on-the-air CW training class 
  on their 146.82(-) repeater at 20:00 local every Tuesday night .

- Sunday June 15th: Frederick Father's Day Hamfest & VE Session.

  This will be a "free" test session, one does have to pay the hamfest
  entrance fee. The Carroll County VE Team (KE3FL - Liaison) will
  be running the VE session.

- MSN: The Maryland Slow Net, 3.717MHz 19:30 local every evening 
  helps you learn CW and CW traffic handling. Take a look at their

- MADXRA: Steve, KB3ISK is calling the MADXRA After School Net at
  4:00PM on 147.06RPT Tuesdays & Thursdays and closes the net by
  4:30PM. All young hams are encouraged to check-in.

 Pool Committee has released a revised and expanded Amateur Extra
 class (Element 4) question pool into the public domain.  The new
 question pool becomes effective July 1, 2003, and must be used to

 after that date.

Rohn heavy duty stepped tower for sale. Five 8' sections for 40' 
total.  Triangular base with 24" leg separation at bottom and 12"
separation at top.  Has homemade bearing at top and universal 
rotor platform about 3' down from top.  Self supporting - no guys
needed.  Sections nest inside each other for shipment and connect 
with two 1/2" bolts, nuts, and lockwashers per leg per section.

Tower is in good condition with minimal rust stains and comes with 
hardware.  $250.00  If no interest locally, then will take to
Memorial Day Hamfest at Howard County Fairgrounds.
