I was chatting with some of you on the repeater on how
to measure the passband of the filters in a radio.
The program is called Spectrogram. An older freeware
version that I use can be obtained from:

http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/SPECTROGRAM/

To use this program take audio from your rig into your
soundcard's microphone input. Then tune your radio to
a place where there is no signal - just noise. This
program will show what your filter looks like!

See the filters of two of my radios at my website:

http://www.qsl.net/wb8yyy

Anyway, you might be interested in seeing what your
radios are really doing!

Contact me if you need help in using spectrogram.
This version runs fine on a low end (old) pentium.
