[K3PZN-List] BPL -- Broadband over Power Lines

Greetings Friends;

The ARRL has published a story on their webssite describing the threat BPL is 
posing to Ham Radio. Along with the story is a video of a mobile survey done in 
a BPL test area -- very graphically showing the effects of the BPL noise on

In the test area, using a mobile antenna, the BPL interference was as strong as 
S-9 on the transceiver used, on 20 and 15 Meters. At those levels, weak signal 
work is impossible.
