In 1990, I called the county permit people, who told me that I didn't need a
permit as long as my tower was under 100 feet. So, mine is 97 feet tall.

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Permit Requirements for Towers
I aquired a 50 foot Rohn 25 tower last week. I wanted to put it up next to
the house. It will be secured to the house up to 30 feet. The Carroll
County permit office said that I did not need a permit or inspections, but
they did not sound to confident. I was wondering if anyone could confirm or
deny this. I don't trust my neighbors and want to make sure I have all of
my Is dotted and Ts crossed before anyone complains.
Thanks
Rob, K1RH
