My full support and endorsement goes to Tom Abernethy, W3TOM, 
for our Section Manager.  

Like most of us, Tom is not a professional ham radio operator, 
yet he puts untold hours of work into the hobby for the public 
good.  There's lots to do and Tom is not afraid to roll up his 
sleeves to continue doing good things.  

You might want to make note that Tom IS INDEED a recognized 
professional in the communications field and as such gives us 
a special dimension and motivation in emergency communications.  
Tom is not a complainer; he's a hard worker.  And a lot of 
fellow hams admire him and share his vision.  Like me.  

W3TOM, although a relatively new callsign (ex-WA3TAI), has 
been supporting our section and progressing "through the ranks" 
of the ARRL organization for at least 30 years.  His particular 
30-year record of service alone ought to impress all ARRL 
members to vote for him.  

I just marked my ballot for Tom.  I hope you do too.  

It's the right thing to do.
