Hello everyone. Excuse the bad typing, I need to hook up the new
keyboard, this one has problems.
I talked with Richard Sorreson, Director of Parks and Recreation for
Carroll County. After explaining our operation, he was very positive
about allowing us use of the entire back end of the park. Apparently
this area is used by Boy Scouts and etc. He needs to check with his
person that does the scheduling and will be back to us in a day or
two. It sounds like we may have to sign a use contract of some
nature. His comment was as soon as they clear it, they will draw up
the contract. I asked for all the area starting at the pravillion
and all the surrounding fields.
By the way, I have taken some pictures and will put them out in a
couple of messages. They are large but I will resize. Anyone wanting
a larger specific picture, email and I will send a higher resolution
of it. I think the one I put out will be ok. Don't want to kill
those with slower connections.
The picture as always do not give a great perspective, but will
help. The land tails off on both sides of the stone and chip road,
more on the right but still there is plenty of space. The area right
at the end has a gradual tail off over a couple hundred yards.
I am going to send about 8 pictures. I have about 20 some of which
don't show much more. Anyone wanting any beyond the first 2 sets,
let me know.
