Colleagues = Please accept apologies if you get two copies
as I'm using both ARES/RACES and MADXRA lists = But we are
in a pickle here in Smoketown = There is to be a 

Triathlon
in Brunswick 
on Saturday, 18 May, 
starting at 0730 and ending at 1100

The alleged organizer of this event has made no preps for 
safety, since it is "...the city's responsibility..." = So
I've been asked if we can field a half-dozen Hams or more
to handle safety communications for the event = Ray, N3HYM,
is getting the specific details for us later today = Mean-
time, I'm sending out this begging letter to see if we can
get some volunteers w/ mobile or HT radios to help w/ comm

Please let me know if you can provide comm support for this
event
