Dear CCARCers and Contesters;
I couldn't have ASKED for a better advertisement for
the IARU contest...Thanks Pete.
Now if you're looking for a place to get your feet wet
in the IARU competition this weekend, and you don't
happen to have a good HF station nearby, please
consider dropping by to join the WX3B effort.
I will be hosting a Multi Transmitter PRACTICE event.
That's right - our score will not count for this event
- which makes it an IDEAL time for fun, and learning
about contesting. Festivities will be happening
throughout the day Saturday and will be in full swing
Saturday evening.
In this contest - anyone can work anyone, DX, next
door neighbor, etc. It's a great deal of fun.
And of course there's the surprise midnight snack -
cooked on my newly rebuild BBQ grill.
If you're interested - please email me at
[email protected] so I can get a headcount and give you
directions to 2926 Park Avenue in Manchester.
Hope some of you will consider dropping by and
contesting with us.
73,
Jim Nitzberg WX3B
