Good questions!

The first thing to do is to read everything you can.
There are also on-line classes via ARRL, but they are
rather expensive in my opinion.

The CARET web site has articles written by myself and
N3JIA, and others on numerous emergency topics. These
articles are also on the CARET membership disk.

One thing sorely lacking is any county involvement in
our training. Doug tried before me, I tried as EC,
N3JIA, tried, and I'm sure Larry has or is trying to
get the county to actually include us in any and all
emergency training they feel is pertinent for us. (I
guess they have felt they don't have any training
classes we need.)
