Gentlemen;

I will be out of town next Monday evening - I was going to be giving a presentation on MT-63.

Another possible topic is determining if there's any interest getting into the Maryland-DC QSO Party.

73; Steve, N3SB

Subject: [K3pzn-board] July Meeting

Team -- I don't know if we have an agenda for July meeting ?

My thoughts -- arrange a VERY diverse meeting ---

(1) See if N3SB can brief us on his tour of MDC section FD sites, and brief us on diverse operations -- particularly anything out of the ordinary in modes, antennas, logistics, social interaction, engaging the public .... (15 minutes ??)

(2) Recap of K3PZN and WY3P operations -- including lessons learned (~5 minutes each, we need to see who can report on WY3P as at least 2 candidates come to mind who regularly attend)

(3) Advanced logging techniques -- review benefits of networking, how to use advanced features -- perhaps I can do homework on use of the Bandmap in write-log, Andy can describe 'how' the network is put together in hardware AND software settings (~ 2 minutes per topic)

(4) Measurement of caps & inductors -- Anthony asked for something to be measured -- i am willing to bring my humble instrument and make some measurements for him and anyone else (~ 2 minutes to present, measure after meeting)

(5) LOTW update -- i am willing to present my recent experience on QSLs including Triple Play progress, and integration with WinLog32 (~ 5 minutes)

(6) Arguino update from Dave ... not exactly ham radio but illustrates microcontroller application .... (~5 minutes)

(7) .... ok maybe its getting too full, but you get the picture! short 5-15 minute presentations, some inter-related.

Let's make it an interesting experience for anyone who takes the time to visit !

And when we figure it out -- advertise what is happening on the reflector well in advance of the meeting -- like later this week !

PS - I wonder if Andy needs support in preparing/submitting our FD log ??

PS - Was N3SB a 'target' when he visited Washington County ?? Will WB8YYY be a 'target' of digital station operators for QRM at FD ??
