[K3pzn-board] Field Day and Board Meeting

Good Evening Board and Al,

            Ok, well I was hoping not to have to go out of town before field
day, but it looks like I will and will not be back until Friday morning
around 1AM. So, I am going to ask for some help.

Field Day Stuff:

1) The trailer lights have been changed and installed on the generator
trailer, can someone please test the trailer lights to make sure   
   that they work. I do not have the necessary connector to test the lights
.

2) I dropped the fire extinguisher service inc today. They ABC 10 lbs
canister will be ready on Thursday for pickup. Can someone please 
   stop by and pick the unit up.

It should be less than $25.00

The other extinguisher will not be ready for about a month. That is the
Carbon Dioxide canister. So, if you want two extinguishers for field day
then some one will need to loan the club one.

            That is the end of Field Day stuff.

Board Meeting

1) I will not be able to attend the board meeting this week. So, my comment
on the counties offer to take over the van is a BIG 
   YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As long as we have control of the equipment inside
the van and that the county is willing to reserve the van for 
   the exclusive use of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Clubs use. 

   This will allow us to raise money to properly outfit the van and spend
our money on equipment and not the maintenance and upkeep of 
   the van.

2) Now with that said, I would like to see the EC and Assistance EC’s work
with the county officials to get our emergency communication 
   role more clearly defined in the ECOM Plan for the county. I am willing
to ASSIST with this effort, but not chair or take the effort 
   on as my responsibility. This is the responsibility of the EC and
Assistant EC’s not the CCARC Board of directors or one individual 
   of the CCARC.

So, that is about it from here. I look forward to seeing everyone at Field
Day, I will be there tired, but I will be there.

BTW, I will probably not have access to email until Sunday night after field

follow my trip to MA Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for N5LBJ-1 Up on Tuesday
