Good Afternoon Keith et all,

I think that we should discuss this at the regular board meeting this coming
Wednesday night. I also think that we are going to need to get the approval
of the general membership.

However, I think that this is great idea and will allow us to better utilize
our current fund base. 

Now, with that being said I feel it is imperative to make sure that we have
a firm understanding of the REAL possible response scenarios for the van and
then and only then should any type of configuration work be performed on the
van. It does not make much sense to configure - outfit an emergency response
vehicle one way and the actually need be another.

Again my hats off to Keith and Chuck for taking my place at the meeting.

I forgot to give you replacement cost:

A replacement vehicle with a pneumatic telescoping mast and an on board 
generator, racks, cabinets, etc. would most likely be in the $50,000 range 
...new.  This would not include any additional wiring or radio equipment.
