 Bummer Drew,

I'm not much help with programming a radio with a computer. But others here in the group are good at it. If you get stuck send an email, someone should lend a hand.

When you do get it straight jump on the repeater any time. No need to wait until next week, someone is always listening. They may not have a moment to say hi right then and there, so when you put out your call leave the radio on for awhile. Sooner or later you'll hear someone. If I recall correctly from your home you should be able to use the 146.985 from an HT with no problem at all.

Let me know if you need a hand.

Heard the net on my handheld, too busy fussing with radios and computers to join in.  Couldn’t get Chirp to open on my Raspberry Pi and it wouldn’t recognize any cables on Windows.  While trying to figure things out I accidentally erased the memory on my desktop radio…ugh.  Thankfully I have a backup file.
Chirp is working on a Mac laptop and can access my HT but it's not seeing the USB to the desktop radio.  I recently got a Digirig but haven’t tried it yet…will do so tomorrow!
I hope to make the net next week once things are sorted out.
