[K3CAL] CARA Weekly Net Notes 5/13/2024

Heard the net on my handheld, too busy fussing with radios and computers to join in.  Couldn’t get Chirp to open on my Raspberry Pi and it wouldn’t recognize any cables on Windows.  While trying to figure things out I accidentally erased the memory on my desktop radio…ugh.  Thankfully I have a backup file.  

Chirp is working on a Mac laptop and can access my HT but it's not seeing the USB to the desktop radio.  I recently got a Digirig but haven’t tried it yet…will do so tomorrow!

I hope to make the net next week once things are sorted out.

W1AJW: couldn’t make last week’s net due to low blood sugar level. Has made his own anemometer. 
K3OCM: No breakfast on 5/18 – ham license testing in Laurel that day
