Let's do the math.  If you smile 10 people are upset because you are happy
and they are not. So you pick one of the upset people and make them smile.
Did you make the world better?  No way no how. Now you have 10 more that
are upset about whatever you said to make the one you picked happy. And
wait there is more now the one you picked has 10 more upset with him.
LANDMINES EVERYWHERE.
