[K3CAL] New equipment donations recieved

Hello All,

Today March 9th 2024. I met with Jesse KF0OQZ who donated 2 HT's, a Baofeng UV5r Pro and a private label radio the explorer QRZ-1. Chargers are included along with a custom made plastic carrying case and a Technician manual. Thanks Jesse! (see attached photo)

Jesse grew up in Calvert County where he first experienced ham radio. He even attended a CARA Field Day at Hallowing Point Park. He currently resides in Colorado with a job that allows him to travel, operating ham radio from the road when he can. While here in Calvert county for only the next few weeks, don't be surprised if he shows up on the K3CAL repeater system or at a meeting. If he does be sure to say hi.

This donation will be added to the CARA inventory list. A complete inventory list of  equipment  will be made available to all members as soon as possible. In the meantime equipment that has been inventoried will continue to be available at the monthly CARA meetings. There is a lot of orphans that need a good ham operator home.

Some of this orphan equipment will be at the upcoming Thursday March 7th 2024 CARA meeting at 7:30 pm. Stay Tuned for more information in a separate email, or on the air on K3CAL repeater system, or even at a CARA meeting or event.
