[K3CAL] Skywarn Net June 16th 2023

Good evening all. The severe weather that passed through this evening turned
out to be not as bad as anticipated. 

 

The So. Maryland Skywarn net was activated at 5:17pm. I handled net control
and we had 12 check ins. Only 1 report met the criteria for passing on to
NWS and I did that via NWSChat. The net was secured at 8:14pm.

 

Thank you to all who checked in and  thank you to CARA for the use of the
repeater system. I'm sure NWS appreciates it. As always, I look forward to
any input that will help the net and the program in the So. Md. Region.
