Good evening all. The severe weather that passed through this evening turned out to be not as bad as anticipated.

The So. Maryland Skywarn net was activated at 5:17pm. I handled net control and we had 12 check ins. Only 1 report met the criteria for passing on to NWS and I did that via NWSChat. The net was secured at 8:14pm.

Thank you to all who checked in and  thank you to CARA for the use of the repeater system. I’m sure NWS appreciates it. As always, I look forward to any input that will help the net and the program in the So. Md. Region.
