KC3QQD: St. Mary’s County is planning a FoxHunt and a Parks On The Air demo at Newtown Neck State Park on Saturday 8/19/2023. I have found VHF propagation maps on vhf.dxview.org
N3AE: has Winlink set up – join in tonight after the net. Auxcom – 1900 Harriet Brown – digital mode troubleshooting
W3RBR: was able to visit MDC QSO Party site.
KC3WRX: 8 contacts on QSO party. Had a visit there from person wishing to get licensed. On the search for a different site to have the QSO Party next year. SkyWarn net activated today. Was able to get on Xband on Barstow Tower to Bluemont repeater for reporting to NWS.
KB3RAN: hanging out at home.
KC3WIX: setting up station at home.
W3PQS: had a lot of lightning and been trying to work with WinLink
KC3RWT: trying to track down Ron
W1AJW: replaced gutters on cottage.
KC3VNH: Is interested in Winlink – wants to learn more about grounding and bonding.
K3OCM: has been working on hotspots and getting a Tarheel on his mobile station.
