[K3CAL] CARA October minutes and Holiday Party Announcement

Here are the minutes of the October meeting for your perusal.  To be approved at this week's meeting on Thursday Nov 4th as well as voting on 2022 officers.  Don't miss the Zoom meeting.


Lila had a change of heart after Dave KB3RAN got overbooked on the 4th of December to be Santa at his church.  So we will have a Holiday Party at our home in Chesapeake Ranch Estates on Saturday December 11th from 1 to 5 PM.  It will be a pot luck dinner with attendees expected to bring a main dish, side dish or dessert.  Please let me know how many plan to attend and what you might be bringing.  
Due to the closeness of our home, I am asking everyone to be vaccinated prior to attendance so we may go unmasked for the entire time.  Sorry if that inconveniences you.  Health of our members is important.  And my home is a split level with steps up to the living area. 
If folks are interested there can be a couple of PowerPoint slide shows available of my trip to Thailand and my summer Lighthouse Weekend expedition.  And maybe I can talk Danny Flynn into bringing his accordion and music.  
Is anyone interested in organizing a gift exchange?  We can discuss at the meeting.  Is there a budget for party expenses.  Can someone bring the FD picnic stuff down?
