[K3CAL] Fwd: New News Flash: Calvert County Activates New Public Safety Communications System

Comments on the article.. Anyone have the design specification and user manual on how  "The system is also designed to enable police and fire departments to better communicate with other local, state and federal agencies when a multi-jurisdictional response is required.".  The phrase "better communicate" just doesn't give a warm and fuzzy.  Is it designed in but we didn't get those features? Curious minds would like to know. Is is automatic function?  Seems like something that should be practiced on a routine basis to get used to the procedures at a minimum.
