The minutes will be read for approval at the CARA meeting on March 5th, 2020. Meeting is at Harriet Brown Community Center on Dares Beach Road at 7:30 PM. Please attend. CARA dues are due now. Please pay at the meeting, by mail or by PayPal on the k3cal.org website. If paying through the website, make a note that it is for 2020 dues.
The next CARA board meeting will be held at IHOP Prince Frederick at 7 PM on March 26th. All members are welcome to attend.

Monitor marine,search and rescue, CERT comm channelsEPIRBtracking: Some real and most falsealarms but good for tracking practice. And they practice with flyovers tossingout transmitters. (Fox Hunt)A part of USAir Force which pays for STEM, flight training, UAV flight, and simulatortraining$66 Adultmembership and $35 for cadets annually. To join: Fingerprinted, FBIcheck, pay dues then train as radio operator, ground search and rescue, ride onflights, assist with parades and air shows. Then teach radio skills under their Professional Leadership TrainingprogramLocal unitlooking for experienced radio operators to train cadets for ground team radioprocedures, phonetic alphabet and numbers. Train Command Center Communications Officers on setting up radionetworks, antennae, and operations.Calvert CAPmeets Tuesday 7PM at German Chapel Baptist Church. 1st Tues is development, 2ndis emergency management training.They will havea class aimed toward Command Post Operators Exercise on April 25thin Easton, MD. Discussed possibly fielding an NVIS Antenna Day station atEaston.Lots ofquestions and interest by club members. Thanks to Wes Lapre for the great presentation. Secretary will send a thank you.
