Fellow  Hams,  
Here  is an opportunity to assist the Anne Arundel Radio Club. In the past 
they have  provided operators to several of our events. 
The Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race is  on Sunday, April 3 this  year.   The race 
starts at 8 AM at South River High School. The course  is an opens roads 
course using Rt. 2, Mill Swamp Rod., Muddy Creek Rd., and the  South River Club 
House Rd. as well as Stepneys Lane. 
We  need operators to cover the water stops, critical turning points, and 
other  places along the route.  A bike mobile for the last runner will also  
be required to make sure the last runner(s) are okay. Set up for the 
Striders  starts at 5 AM. The event starts at 8 AM, but for most operators, it is 
over  before 1:00 PM, so you have most of the afternoon.  We can accommodate  
special requests if you are not available to work the entire  time.
