Hi All! At the last meeting we talked about building a simple CW
Transceiver that we could build and use On the Air,
to practice CW and make some contacts. The frequency of
7.040 was chosen to allow license classes of
Technician thru Extra to use. It is a simple kit with few
parts and small enough to put into an Altoids tin
or smaller enclosure of your choice. It should be able to
be built in an evening or two, and uses a PC board
as you can see in the two links below... total cost should
be less than $10.00 w/o enclosure and I am putting
this up here to see how many I will be ordering. To those
that are interested I would like to see an e-mail from
you, off the reflector, to my e-mail address on my cell...
_n3ipnsteve at gmail.com
_ I would order the kits and crystals and costs would be my
cost/how many I order. Please try and respond
within a week or two, as I would like to get them ordered
so we could build before Spring and allow others to
see this post and not miss out!! I will post again with
the total to be ordered, so others can get in before I
place the order.. Thanks and 73 to all! Steve N3IPN
