As I recall the radio came with an HM-7 , 600ohm, dynamic mic with built in preamplifier. Desk mic SM-5 with original connector wiring was used with this radio. I think an HM-8 hand microphone will also work. I will look through some boxes, may have an unmodified SM-5; not too sure about the early hand microphones .........give me a few days. If you have a manual great, if not I think you can download a "copy" from icom global.
