[K3CAL] Log Periodic Antenna Project

Here is the link for the 144 -  460 mhz Log Periodic Antenna that I have 
built and plan to build some more of....

The construction is hefty...almost 4.6 lbs... mainly due to local 
availability of thick wall aluminum box tubing... it is made with 1" 
square tubing (2 Booms (4 foot)) and 1/4 " solid Al rod.... seperated by 
plexiglass (1/5 " between Booms) with pop rivets.. and yes count-em   20 
elements...

I have finished 1 to play with and we checked its performance... < 1.6 
SWR thru the 2 meter and 440 band.... 220 band had poorer 
performance...  with Chip's $$$$1000.00 ish hitec Analyzer.... (who can 
argue with an analyzer owned by a ham who sometimes is bigger than 
life??)   Anyway cost should be about $50 or less... cost just being the 
cost of materials...   take a look and let me know at next meeting...
