OK, Jim.  No problem.
I have a good working 2 meter, and 6 meter.  What I need is a dual band or just a 440.  If you believe we can make it work on  70cm we can think about it.   What kind of SWR were you getting?  Thanks for offering.  I will think about it.  Peter

Peter, there was another buyer about 10 minutes earlier, thus no more......but I have a 3 band fiberglass vertical that I am replacing with one like the one I sold.  6 meter/ 2 meter and 70 cm.

The 6 meter has a very narrow band, but can be tuned to where you would like to operate.

The 2 meter is " no tune" and works great.

The 70cm is no tune but tunes 1:1 over 450 MHz, using it around 444 to 446 mhz the SWR runs higher than I like and I bought a replacement. I don't know if the frequency can be brought down or not as you would have to lengthen the antenna, maybe reactance would work but may cause 2 meters to loss some punch.

We could check with Shawn to see what he thinks......

If you can wait a couple weeks for me to get it down, you are welcome to it for F R E E !

If you are not interested I shall put it up for sale after I inspect it.

It has been up since summer of 2010 so almost 5 years, white fiberglass, so I am not sure how the finish is from the sun and weather. It is in operation now and working very well on 2 meters. I only used it on 6 meters a few times in 2010, but never tuned it to the best 6 meter frequency at the time it went up.

Let me know what you think, I won't say anything about it for a few weeks to give you a chance to look about. Sorry about the other antenna, a guy in Bowie was just a small bit faster on the send.
