Luigi,

#1. Yes, the fan increases in speed when the internal temperature reaches a
certain point. This can happen while transmitting, or sometimes when just
receiving.

#1. The speed of the main dial can be changed by pressing the STEP button
just to the right of the dial.

I hope you enjoy your JST-145. I have a -245 and like it very much.

Good morning to all. I just got myself a JRC JST-145 
Transceiver. So far it has performed very nicely
however, I have two questions for the forum.

#1 Is it normal that the fan goes up rapidly?

#2 Is there are any way where I can lower the speed of
the mail dial?
